The longest-lived App Store ad in EU astrology belongs to Moonly. Its English line "Daily motivation & Astrology" has passed Apple's own one-year marker and is still live across 19 countries, last recorded 14 July 2026. Moonly is also the heaviest advertiser in the set at 1,988 ad records, so here the biggest spender does hold the top of the board, which is not what we found in other categories.
We pulled every App Store ad these apps ran across EU storefronts from Apple's public Ad Repository, the transparency dataset the EU Digital Services Act requires. Here is the survivor board, sorted by how long each app's longest creative has stayed live. Data window ends 15 July 2026.
The survivor board
| App | Distinct creatives | Longest creative | Total ad records tracked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Moonly | 16 | over 1 year ("Daily motivation & Astrology", en-GB, 19 countries, still live 14 July 2026) | 1,988 |
| Astro Love Lab | 20 | over 1 year ("Birth Chart Zodiac Sign Future", en-GB, 19 countries, went dark 5 February 2026) | 1,247 |
| Nebula | 28 | 231 days ("Zodiac star sign Compatibility", en-GB, 20 countries, went dark 19 March 2026) | 1,689 |
| Astro: Astrology & Horoscope | 2 | 168 days ("Zodiac sign Tarot Moon phases", en-GB, 7 countries, still live 14 July 2026) | 102 |
| AstroWay | 7 | 163 days ("Birth Chart Horoscope Psychic", en-GB, 25 countries, went dark 14 April 2026) | 519 |
(Astro Love Lab is the App Store listing "Astrology, Tarot, Astro & Love Lab".)
A few readings of this table.
Two apps cleared a full year on an English hero line, and only one kept it live. Both Moonly and Astro Love Lab pushed a single English creative past Apple's 365-day marker. Moonly's "Daily motivation & Astrology" is still running as of 14 July 2026. Astro Love Lab's "Birth Chart Zodiac Sign Future" went dark on 5 February 2026 after clearing the year. Same milestone, opposite decision. When an ad that has already run a year keeps running, that is the strongest free signal a category gives you that a creative converts.
More creatives did not buy a longer runner. Nebula runs 28 distinct creatives, the most in the set, and 1,689 records. Its longest, "Zodiac star sign Compatibility", topped out at 231 days and it retired the line on 19 March 2026. Nebula churns hooks faster than anyone here and still sits below the two apps that left one English line running.
The leanest advertiser outlasts a heavier one. Astro: Astrology & Horoscope runs two creatives on 102 records, and its "Zodiac sign Tarot Moon phases" line has held 168 days and is still live at 14 July 2026. AstroWay runs seven creatives on 519 records, five times the volume, and its longest went dark at 163 days on 14 April 2026. Two ads beat seven.
Every hero line is plain English utility copy. Read the top of each app's board: "Daily motivation & Astrology", "Birth Chart Zodiac Sign Future", "Zodiac star sign Compatibility", "Zodiac sign Tarot Moon phases", "Birth Chart Horoscope Psychic". No mysticism, no mood copy. Each names the thing the app does, a chart or a horoscope or a compatibility read, and every longest line is English even for the apps that translate everything underneath.
Where these apps buy
Every ad on this board ran in one placement, App Store search results, the slot you see after typing a query. That holds across all five advertisers. None of them bought browse or Today-tab placement. The formats split between an icon-only ad and an icon-plus-asset ad, but the buying surface is the same for everyone.
That fits the demand. Someone typing "horoscope" or "birth chart" has the intent already formed. These apps meet it at the results screen and skip the discovery surfaces.
How to read this for your own category
Longevity is the cheapest performance signal you can get for free. Nobody keeps funding an ad that loses money, so a creative still live after months, and past a year in Moonly's case, is one that converts. Pull your own category the same way: list your three closest rivals, sort their ads by how long each has run, and write your first creatives against the survivors. Watch the count too, because Astro: Astrology & Horoscope holds a 168-day ad on two creatives while apps running many more sit near it. Then check monthly, because a new long-runner appearing is a rival finding a new winner.

Method note: figures are computed from Apple's public Ad Repository (DSA Article 39), across 25 EU storefronts, data window ending 15 July 2026. "Days running" is the span from a creative's first to last recorded impression across those markets, and "over 1 year" is Apple's own 365+ marker. Longevity is a proxy for performance, not a measured conversion rate. We invented no numbers beyond what the repository reports. Refreshed monthly.
